Support the Project
I started filming these places simply to share them with my dad. He loved the California coast, especially the Capitola Wharf. As dementia began to take his memory, I began recording the places we loved so he could still experience them even when traveling became difficult.
What started as something personal slowly turned into a project that thousands of people now follow.
I’ve never expected payment for this, and I’ve always covered the costs myself. Every trip, every tank of gas, every piece of equipment, every editing hour has simply been part of the process of documenting these places and sharing their stories.
That said, exploring the coast, traveling to locations, and continuing to film new places does come with real costs.
If you enjoy the videos and want to help keep the project going, donations are completely optional but always appreciated.
Your support helps cover things like
Gas for travel to new locations
Drone equipment and maintenance
Editing software and tools
Access to historical research and archives
There is never any expectation to donate. Watching, sharing, and following the project already means a lot.
But if you’d like to help support the continued exploration of Forgotten California, you can do so below.
Every bit helps keep the camera flying and the stories coming.
