Areas like West Cliff, Capitola, and Seascape are most likely to feel the impact, with waves reaching higher than normal and water levels pushing farther inland than usual. The county is asking people to avoid dangerous areas for photography.

Residents and visitors should use caution near sea walls, coastal paths, and beach access points. Conditions like sneaker waves and stronger-than-normal currents can happen without warning, so staying back from cliff edges and surge zones is highly recommended until the tides and swell subside.
